Public Health (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science in Public Health provides students with wonderful opportunities for collaboration with community partners, graduate students and faculty. Our curriculum and our work aligns with both national and local health needs. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to improve the health and well-being of your community and world by focusing on proactive, preventative health measures. Public Health Combined (B.S. +英里/小时)

Master of Public Health

Improve the health of individuals and communities with a Master of Public Health (MPH). You’ll learn to use a skills-based, hands-on approach through our innovative teaching model that incorporates service-learning opportunities and community-based participatory research throughout our curriculum. Bachelor of Science in Wellness and Health Promotion

Notice: Effective Fall 2024, the bachelor's in wellness and health promotion (WHP) becomes the bachelor's of public health. Coursework and program foci are similar between the two degrees, with the new degree providing a broader perspective for career opportunities. Current WHP students and combined program students will have the option to complete their WHP degree provided that they do so by the year 2030, or transition into the Bachelor of Science in Public Health program. Wellness and Health Promotion Minor

Choose a minor in wellness and health promotion (WHP) to live and promote a healthy lifestyle within your main area of focus. This minor is available to any Oakland University student majoring in other health programs as well as programs such as anthropology, integrative studies, human resource development, 心理学, sociology and more. Global and Population Health Services 研究生 Certificate

Enhance your knowledge in developing and communicating program goals and objectives to stakeholders, and improving the efficiency and quality of health program delivery, with the global and population health services graduate certificate. Health Equity 研究生 Certificate

With the graduate certificate in health equity, expand your knowledge of the root causes of health inequities. You will be prepared to develop and implement strategic initiatives that diminish health disparities and foster equitable health. Epidemiological 研究 研究生 Certificate

Advance your knowledge of epidemiological methods and gain experience in developing a robust research student design and conducting higher-level statistical analyses. With the graduate certificate in epidemiological research, you’ll take courses related to research, biostatistics and disease.
